American Goulash is a savory convenience one pot meal that will become your new comfort food. This dish is bursting with flavors and textures from wholesome vegetables, aromatic herbs, and perfectly cooked pasta, all simmered together in a rich tomato-based sauce. Ingredients

• ½ tbsp Olive Oil
• ½ Onion, chopped
• ½ Green Bell Pepper, chopped
• 1 tsp minced garlic
• 1 lb. ground beef, 80/20
• 1 tsp ground Black Pepper
• ½ tsp Paprika
• ½ tsp Garlic Powder
• ½ tsp Seasoned Salt
• 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning (In the video, I substitute with ½ tsp Basil, ½ tsp Oregano)
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 can (15oz) Petite Diced Tomatoes
• 1 can (15oz) Tomato Sauce
• 1½ cups Beef Stock
• 1½ tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
• 1 cup macaroni noodles, uncooked
• 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

1. Add olive oil to large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add in the onion and bell pepper.
3. Add ground beef. Cook until beef is done.
4. Drain excess fat.
5. Place pot back on heat.
6. Add garlic and stir until for about a minute.
7. Pour in the wet ingredients (tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce), dry ingredients (seasoned salt, Italian seasoning, bay leaves), and uncooked noodles.
8. Stir and bring mixture to a boil.
9. Reduce heat to a light boil. Stir occasionally.
10. Cook until pasta is tender about 15-20 minutes. Check to see if done, if not let it cook for another 5-10 mins.
11. Remove the bay leaves.
12. Stir in the cheddar cheese right before serving.
