Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta is a popular complete family-friendly dish that has delicious flavors that the youngest to the oldest will enjoy. Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta is a perfect dish to prepare on busy weeknights, and Aunt Sandy will show you the shortcuts. This meal is very versatile & customizable, budget-friendly, and can be made ahead of time, making it convenient for busy families.

Ingredients

• 2 - 3 cups Chicken, store rotisserie, chopped
• 2 jars (15oz) of Alfredo sauce (your favorite brand)
• 1 box (10-16oz) Pasta of your choice (cooked according to directions on box )
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 2 tablespoon garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoon olive oil (1 for pasta water & 1 for saute)
• ⅔ cup fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
• 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
• 2 teaspoon oregano (1 for chicken & 1 for sauce)
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
• 4 teaspoons parsley flakes
• 1 - 2 teaspoon salt
• 1 - 2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

1. Cook pasta according to directions on box (add salt and olive oil to the water), drain, and keep warm. (set aside)
2. Spinkle 1 teaspoon each of oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over chicken and mix. (set aside)
3. In a large sauce pan over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon olive oil, garlic, and onion. Saute for 1½ - 2 minutes.
4. Slowly add all the Alfredo sauce.
5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir till incorporated.
6. Add shredded Parmesan cheese and stir until cheese melts.
7. Spinkle 1 teaspoon each of oregano over sauce mixture.
8. Add cooked chicken and stir till incorporated.
9. Add cooked drained pasta and stir till incorporated.
10. Add parsley before serving.
