Pistachio Cream Cheese Dessert is not only visually appealing but also offers a delightful combination of textures and flavors, making it a crowd-pleaser at any gathering.

Ingredients

• 1 cup self-rising flour
• ½ cup butter, melted
• 2 tbsp powdered sugar
• 1 cup almonds (or pecans), sliced (divide in half)
• 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
• ⅔ cup powdered sugar
• 12 oz. whipped cream
• 2 small boxes instant pistachio pudding mix
• 2½ cups milk

Instructions

Cookie Layer

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
2. Greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
3. Mix flour, melted butter, sugar, and ½ cup of almonds.
4. Mix well until a dough forms.
5. Press dough into greased baking dish.
6. Bake Cookie Layer for 15 minutes @ 375ºF.
7. Cool 20 minutes.

Cream Cheese Layer

1. Combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and ½ the container of whipped cream.
2. Mix well with an electric mixer until smooth.
3. Spread mixture over the cookie (first) layer after it has cooled.

Pudding Layer

1. Combine pudding and milk together, and beat with an electric mixer until thick.
2. Spread mixture over the cream cheese (second) layer.

Topping Layer

1. Spread the remaining whipped cream on top.
2. Sprinkle the remaining sliced almonds on top.
3. Refrigerate for at least five hours or overnight.
